bird-bgp-dbg software package provides Internet Routing Daemon - debug symbols [BGP-only version], you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bird-bgp-dbg
bird-bgp-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bird-bgp-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bird-bgp-dbg *
You will get with bird-bgp-dbg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
